ABOUT JOHN
Concept 20 Architecture was established by John Taylor, an Architectural Technologist with 25 years experience.

I joined my first Architectural practice (Pope Priestley Architects) in an apprenticeship role in 1998, I formed part of the design team on several large housing estate projects and multi million pound developments.
In 2001 I gained an HNC in Architectural Studies at Solent University after studying all aspects of the design process including site surveying, building construction, structural mechanics and building law.

In 2003 I moved on to Graham Ash Architects, this was a smaller practice that allowed me to work in a more 1 to 1 way with clients on more bespoke projects of a greater variety, many of which were looking to build their 'dream home, extension or new business'

Over 25 years I have gained experience producing drawings and reports for planning applications, building regulations and listed building applications.
I am also a former building energy (SAP) assessor with a vast experience with UK building regulations and various construction methods for many different building types including extensions, new dwellings (both blocks of flats and houses), schools, laboratories, granny annexes, restaurants, coffee shops, stables and many more...

It gives me great satisfaction in seeing an Architectural concept become reality for a client & Concept 20 was conceived with that idea at the forefront, a close working relationship with clients to bring Architectural inspiration to life.
